Ruth Mae Pratt was born in New Albany, Mississippi on February 18, 1968 to the beloved parents of Willie Lee Pratt and Mae Dora Smith. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 21, 2025 after a long fight with diabetes and Huntingtons Disease. She moved to Racine, Wisconsin when she was just six years old. She had a bubbly & bright personality and smile that would light up a room. She enjoyed singing and dancing. Ruth also loved to cook with her family and friends as well. Her favorite meal was chicken with spaghetti. She is survived by her loving children Octavia Jordan (Tommi Sanders) Brittany Mason & Eugene Brown. Four Grandchildren Brandy, Loyal, Gyanna and JheNeah. Her sibling Mary Lee Smith & host of nieces and nephews & close friends and family. Ruth is proceeded in death by her mother Mae Dora & father Willie Lee. Her siblings Michael Smith, Lee Russell Smith, Brinda Kay Smith, Dewitt Pratt and Cedell Pratt. Best friend “Becky”. Funeral Services will be held at Strouf Funeral Home
1001 High Street on Saturday March 8, 2025. Viewing is from 11-12. The service will begin shortly after. Repass will be held from 3-6 at Solomon’s Porch located at 622 High Street.
