Rosa E. Escobar-Manriquez, 51, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at Froedtert South Medical Complex in Pleasant Prairie. Rosa was born in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Pedro Escobar Alvarez and Nicolasa Manriquez-Esparza. In 1992 Rosa married Jose P. Lopez in Mexico. Rosa enjoyed life and was very outgoing always having a smile on her face. She loved to dance and take family trips, but her greatest enjoyment was watching her son play soccer and cooking for her family. Rosa will be deeply missed by her husband Jose, her three children Ana (Adam), Oliver (Jalyn) and Kevin and her grandchild Aria. She will also be missed by her brothers and sisters, Maria de Los Angeles, Maria De La Luz, Leticia Demetrio, Luz Maria, Alejandro, Rigoberto and Miguel. She will also be missed by her Comadres: Adelina, Karla, Ofelia, Sandra, Josefina, Gloria and Goddaughter Esmeralda along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jesus Lopez-Escobar and her grandfather Hilario Manriquez. A Funeral Mass will be held for Rosa Friday, February 9, 2024 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1100 Erie Street, Racine at 5:00 p.m. The family will receive guests in the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday, February 9, 2024. Burial will be private for family.
