Margaret Martinez, 89, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Parkview Gardens in Racine. Margaret was born June 10, 1935 in Crystal City, Texas, the daughter of Juan and Maria (Nee: Gutierrez) Rodriguez. On July 2, 2007, Margaret married Robert Martinez in Crystal City, Texas. Margaret was a hard worker all her life, being a migrant worker at a very young age. Margaret was known as a great cook and a very great mom. She truly loved her children, they were her everything. Margaret will be deeply missed by her children Mario (Martha Lomeli) Martinez, Ruben Martinez and Rose H. Martinez. She will also be missed by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with her siblings Irma Gonzales, Jacinta Gonzales, Janie Jimenez, Albert Jimenez, Arthur Jimenez and Freddy Jimenez. She will also be missed by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sons John Martinez and Jose Martinez and daughter Diana Ballantyne.
