Jennifer Rebecca Leo, 52, of Racine Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 after a 4 year long battle with colon cancer. Jennifer was born o February 19, 1972, the daughter of John and Arvila (NEE: Raasch) Peterson in Racine, Wisconsin. She attended Park High School and later went on to serve as a beloved waitress for over 20 years. Jennifer became a mother in 1990 when she gave birth to her first son, Ryan. She then went on to meet her husband, Art, in 1997 and they were married on February 21st, 1998. Together Jennifer and Art have one son, Antonio. Jennifer’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her 4 grandchildren. She enjoyed baking with them, taking them places, and spoiling them with every ounce of love she had. She is survived by her husband Art Leo, her two sons Ryan McBride (Jessica) and Antonio Leo (Casey), and her four grandchildren Ryan II, Zoey, Poppy, and Luca. She will also be missed by her three brothers John, Rick, and Frank as well as her two sisters Colleen and Holly. Jennifer was predeceased by her parents John and Arvila Peterson and her four older sisters: Dorothy, Jill, Faye, and Mary. Services will be held in Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street on Wednesday, March 20 2024. Visitation will begin at 4:00 with a memorial service to follow at 5:00. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
