Physicians Mutual Supports Funeral Service Foundation With $100,000 Pledge

Gift to support area of greatest need for Foundation

Brookfield, Wis. – Omaha-based insurer Physicians Mutual made their second pledge of $100,000 to support the Funeral Service Foundation. On the opening session of the NFDA Convention, with more than 2,500 in attendance, the gift was announced by Foundation Fund Development Chair Will Bischoff who introduced Physicians Mutual Chief Marketing Officer, Chad Wells, to the stage.

Wells shared Physicians Mutual’s commitment to the Foundation with, as he said, “This literally large check of $102,500.” The $100,000 gift is designated for general support of the Foundation, and $2,500 was designated in support of the 2024 Golf Classic. At the Golf Classic, Wells noted that he and his team were thanked for their continued support by attendees, and this was a great sign about the Foundation and how it can impact passionate, committed, and engaged funeral service professionals like those in the audience at the opening session.
