Nancy Sue Cline, 86 years old of Burleson, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 22, 2025.
Nancy was born December 21, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri to her parents John Albert and Juanita Coyne. She graduated from Temple High School and shortly after, married the love of her life Bobby Cline on September 6, 1958. They moved to Burleson, Texas in 1968 where they raised three beautiful children Craig, Steven and Cathleen.
Nancy studied at Texas Tech and finished her degree in Education from Texas Wesleyan University. She taught Government and Economics for 24 years at Burleson High School and served as the head of their Social Studies department. Nancy described teaching as some of the best years of her life and loved her students a great deal.
Nancy spent her free time playing bridge, gardening in her yard, volunteering at her church, traveling and spending time with her family.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who was a light to many in her life and will be greatly missed.
Nancy is survived by her son Steven Cline and daughter-in-law Amy, her daughter Cathleen Reid and life partner Mark, her daughter-in-law Patci Cline and her grandchildren Stephanie Tucker and husband Jason, Doug Cline and wife Jennifer, Lindsay Barclay and her husband Curtis, and Emily, Abigail and Sarah Reid. Her legacy will continue through her great-grandchildren Madison, Aubree, Matthew, Kaylynn, Hudson, and Sutton.
She is preceded in death by her parents John Albert and Juanita Coyne, her loving husband Bobby Cline, her brother Terry Coyne, and her son Craig Cline.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to The Alzheimer’s Association in Nancy’s name. Services for Nancy will be at Pathway Church in Burleson, Texas located at 325 NW Renfro Street on April 9th, 2025 at 11 O’clock.
