Petra Murillo (Coronado), age 74, passed to her eternal rest on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. She was born in Uvalde, Texas on June 15, 1950 to Frank Coronado and Petra Zamora. Daughter of agriculturist, she grew up in a very traditional household. Her family moved north to Racine, Wisconsin. Raised a family of 7. She is preceded in death by her daughters Amy Zuniga, Juanita Coronado and son Felipe Estrada, . She is survived by son Gilberto Sabala, Jr., daughters Angel Jimenez, Olga Rosiles and Celia Estrada, and granddaughter Amanda Sabala who she raised like her own, She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren along with her sisters Mary Esther Morales, Estella Hernandez, Julie Lujan, Margarita Palacios and brothers Samuel Coronado and Ricardo Coronado, and many nieces nephews and cousins. Petra was strong, caring, outspoken, generous – always gave her last, very protective of her loved ones. She loved to have family gatherings, enjoyed a good takeout, humorous, and could talk to anyone. Petra loved our Lord Jesus Christ, and now joins Him in intercession for the family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Desatar Ministry, 1170 West Windlake Avenue, Milwaukee, WI starting at 10: 00 A.M. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5600 Holy Cross Road. A luncheon will follow at Franksville Memorial Hall, 9614 Northwestern Avenue, Franksville, WI 53216 from 4:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
