Samuel “Sam” Moreno Arredondo, 75, a loving father, grandfather and brother, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Graveside Burial Service: Thursday, February 6, at 11 a.m at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Samuel Moreno Arredondo was born May 7, 1949, in Fort Worth, TX. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, excelled at playing pool into his later years and excelled at softball where he participated in many local leagues in his younger years. He loved frequenting Moe’s Cafe in River Oaks whenever he got the chance. He spent the majority of his career at General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin. A special thank you to his nephew and neighbor, Phillip “Spanky” Franco, for always keeping an eye on him in his later years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Gudelia Arredondo; sisters, Eva Jimenez and Lydia Villanueva; brothers, Daniel and Gilbert Arredondo. Survivors: Daughter, Barbra Olmos and husband, Jay; sons, Rory Arredondo and husband Erik, Matthew Arredondo and wife, Sasha; three granddaughters, Alexis, Jasmyn and Gabriella Olmos; grandson, Sebastian Arredondo; brothers, David, Tony and Steve Arredondo; sister, Mary Rocha.
