Most of the people in the greater Death Care community don’t know Stephen Walter. . . yet.  However, I’ve gotten to know Mr. Walter over the past six months and know that he will be welcomed into the Death Care community as another one of our “Good Guys”.

Stephen Walter is one of the principals behind the “Sunset App”.  The “Sunset App” is a fairly new tool that can help families navigate the estate settlement process with confidence.

According to published information about Sunset and its Estate Asset Discovery Tool, families are already being helped by uncovering bank accounts, insurance policies, real estate, and more.

In addition, according to this information from the Sunset App website, they are now introducing what they call their “Business Search Tool”.  According to the same information, the “Business Search Tool” will help uncover business interests that a loved one may have . . . .including interests in LLC’s, corporations, trusts, and more entities.

What’s even better is that Sunset App is including the “Business Search Tool” in their “Free” Estate Asset Discovery Tool.

Here’s what Sunset says about their product:

• A Complete Solution for Estate Settlement: Sunset’s Estate Asset Discovery Tool, now with the Business Search feature, provides a comprehensive suite of resources to help families manage estate settlement efficiently. From finding bank accounts and insurance policies to locating business interests, everything is covered in one place.
• Trusted by Families Nationwide: Sunset is trusted by thousands of families to provide accurate, reliable, and secure tools during some of life’s most challenging moments.
• Completely Free: Our Estate Asset Discovery Tool, including the new Business Search Tool, is free to use. We believe that peace of mind shouldn’t come with a price tag, especially during such difficult times.

And, what is really interesting is that the Sunset App is free to use at this time.  Funeral directors come into client contacts everyday who are in need of locating documents and potential assets that their deceased loved ones may have owned, but the family knows little or nothing about  —  including forgotten accounts.

So, if you are a funeral director and want to make sure that the families you serve can locate all of their assets pass on this Sunset App information to them to help their search.  They may be very glad you did.
