Ramon Bueno, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at The Woods of Caledonia in Racine. He was born on August 9, 1938, in Orange Grove, Texas, to the late Juan and Delfina Bueno. Ramon worked for many years as a factory worker at Case Inc. and was known as a “jack of all trades, master of all,” with no limits to what he could fix. A devoted man of faith and family, he loved God deeply and brought joy to everyone around him with his infectious laughter. Ramon cherished being an usher at JAM Church for many years as well as welcoming his grandchildren to church with a piece of candy. He also found great joy in listening to music. He will be deeply missed by his children: Johnny Bazan, Raymond (Brenda) Bueno, Rosa (Adam) Orta, Oscar (Annette) Bueno, Irene (German) Sandoval, and Raquel (Max) Veguilla; his grandchildren: Sandra, Maria, Johnny-Ray, Gabriel, Jeremy, Eric, Angela, Raylene, Juan-Carlos, Xavier, Jennifer, Ruben, Eduardo, Antonio, Elise, Leticia, Oscar Jr., Christina, Lydia, Christina, Juana, Andrew, Araseli, Angelo, Rico, Sergio, Serina, Savio, Soraya, and Jusenia, and his siblings: Beatrice, Fermina, Freddy, Juan, Raul, and Herminia. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, his longtime companion Sandra and her children (Nana, Giselle, Papi, Amaya, Mariah, Margarita, “Mamas”), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In addition to his parents, Ramon was preceded in death by his wife Andrea, his two sons, Juan and Ruben; two brothers, Odelio and Valentine;  sister, Ofelia and Daughter-In-Law Mary Jane Bazan.  Funeral services for Ramon will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at JAM Church on Erie Street in Racine. The family will receive guests at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Old Holy Cross Cemetery on Kinzie Avenue in Racine.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ramon’s granddaughter Jusenia and the staff at The Woods of Caledonia for their loving care and compassion for “Papi.”

Ramón Zamarripa, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and 3 daughters and son-in-law. He will be remembered for his kind, generous loving heart and his strong faith in Jehovah God. He was the best father and husband anyone could ask for and a most loyal friend. Although we are left with a huge void in our lives, we hold tightly to the beautiful hope of seeing him again in the near future in paradise.
